Elms Farm is run by the Brown family, who have a rich heritage of running farms in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire since the 1700s. Their grandfather bought Elms Farm in 1951 and as a family they are passionate about making their way of life something others can experience.
Chris's passion is countryside management and shooting and he is pleased to offer private shooting tuition tailored to individual needs, from troubleshooting to double gunning, specialising in side by sides.
Jenny has a wealth of equine knowledge having worked in the industry for over 25 years. She has ridden and competed a variety of horses and now enjoys competing in Dressage. She now specialises in dressage training but still enjoys teaching people of all levels and all disciplines.
Together with their son and daughter, they are the third generation of a family devoted to the land and to making their farm a real asset in this picturesque area of the East Midlands. Son Oscar is following in his parents’ footsteps, studying agriculture at Brooksby College. He enjoys working on the farm and is an integral part of the team.
Daughter Molly is enjoying increasing success in competition as a horsewoman; her passion lies in eventing and in 2017 she was long listed to represent Great Britain in Eventing on her pony Ifan.
New to Elms Farm is Philip, who is the man to speak to about any pig matters, butchery sales and events.
