Having been introduced to Ruddington Village through attending the Village market in 2019, it felt like a natural move to look at opening a butchers shop here when the previous butcher closed. 

We moved to a new premises at 17 High Street, formally Thomas James offices, the building has lent itself very well to our new shop. 

Ruddington Butchers is headed up by Paul Yates, who made the move from working at the farm to take up the reins in managing this shop. Paul is helped by his wife Liz. Chris Brown turns his hand to butchery and you will find him in the shop on Friday and Saturdays, he is full of information about the farm and will be able to talk to you about where your meat comes from. New to the team is Oliver Bowler who splits his time between helping with the butchery back at Costock and working here at the beginning of the week with Paul. 

Ruddington Butchers has a wide variety of meat available, an ever growing deli counter with great british cheeses and cured meats.
