Windmill Cottage
Windmill Cottage was our first barn conversion at Elms Farm and sits on the original site of Costock Windmill, built in 1921. It is a pretty, self-contained, quiet getaway.
We have three fantastic barn conversions that each offer generous self-catering accommodation. All our cottages are finished to a high standard, with two sleeping up to four people and one sleeping up to two people. Whether you are looking for a quiet countryside escape or enough room for a small group of friends, please have a look at our Elms Farm cottages.
If you need any further information about our acommodation, call Jenny or Chris. We would love to help you and answer any questions you may have.

Windmill Cottage was our first barn conversion at Elms Farm and sits on the original site of Costock Windmill, built in 1921. It is a pretty, self-contained, quiet getaway.
This building dates back to the 1920s and was formerly Elms Farm Milking parlour. It still has the original beams and is a great place to stay for either a couple or up to 4 people with the use of a comfortable double sofa bed.
Elms Farm is steeped in pig history, and when Chris' grandfather travelled to Holland in the early 1950s, he became one of the first people to introduce Landrace pigs to the UK. The Piggery was one of the first buildings to house those pigs. This historic cottage now sleeps up to 4 people.
We are a non-intensive family-run farm. We produce our own Lamb and Beef and put the welfare of our livestock first, as well as promoting sustainable farming. Check our products page to find out more about us and our British producers.
